Blend Yogurt and Sugar: In a blender, add fresh yogurt, sugar, and cardamom powder. Blend until smooth and creamy. You can adjust the sugar according to your taste. Add Malai: Add fresh malai (cream) or heavy cream to the blender. Blend again for 1-2 minutes to get a thick, rich texture. If the mixture feels too thick, add a little cold milk to adjust the consistency. Add Ice (Optional): If you like your lassi chilled, you can add a few ice cubes and blend again.
Garnish and Serve: Pour the malai lassi into tall glasses. Garnish with chopped nuts, saffron strands, and a spoonful of fresh malai or cream on top.
