Total Time: Approximately 45-50 minutes

Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 30 minutes. Drain the water before cooking.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer.

Add the soaked rice to the simmering milk. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom of the pan.

04.

Once the rice is cooked and the milk has thickened, add the sugar and cardamom powder. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
