Preparation Time: 15 minutes
In a mixing bowl, combine the gram flour, cumin seeds, carom seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Add water gradually to make a thick batter.
Add the thinly sliced onions and green chilies to the batter. Mix well so that the onions are well-coated with the batter.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the onion batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
Drain and Serve: Remove the bhajis with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
