Preparation Time: minutes
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
Add the tea bags or loose tea to the boiling water and let it steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.
Remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea leaves. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the tea.
Pour the tea into a blender. Add the butter and half-and-half (or milk). Blend until the mixture is frothy and the butter is fully incorporated.
Pour the butter tea into cups and serve hot.
